Nigeria has over the years faced many security challenges. In recent years, the nation has had to contend with security problems relating to Boko Haram, gunmen attacks, herder-farmer crisis, kidnappers, armed robbers, and ritualists, among others.

However, President Bola Tinubu has stated his willingness to address the security situation in the country, pledging to secure and protect every inch of Nigeria’s territory by mobilising all assets within his power.
