A singer and entrepreneur, Ebuka Igbokwe, aka Hotbillz, is set to entertain his fans with the release of two new singles.
Titled ‘Love’, featuring Lyta; and ‘Waist’, featuring Fortune G, the tracks will be released on May 17.
Hotbillz, who established his label, Hotbillz Empire Limited, in October 2017, noted that his songs are ‘characterised by their uplifting and positive sound, high ‘danceability’, and rhythmic nature’.
The singer also stated that the new singles will further showcase his ‘distinctive sound, captivating lyrics, versatility and creativity’.
Shedding more light on the new songs, he said, “Love is produced by Pollar, and mixed and mastered by Verbb. The track takes listeners on an emotional journey through love and relationships, combining my soulful vocals and Lyta’s unique style. It promises to be a polished and resonant track.
“On the other, ‘Waist’, on which I feature Fortune G, is produced by Maeka, and mixed and mastered by Josh Keyngz. It is a lively and upbeat anthem, perfect for the dance floor. My collaboration with Fortune G adds an extra layer of energy to the song, while the production is of the highest quality.”
The singer added that though he had once been tempted to quit music, he couldn’t follow through because of his love for the craft, and the support of his fans.
Describing his experience running a record label, the entrepreneur said, “One will be involved in various aspects of the project, including A&R, production, marketing, distribution, legal, and promotion, which is challenging.”
